  12-Week Fun and Fitness Program

Thisp rogram for women grew out of a need to create a safe and supportive environment for women to achieve their health and fitness goals. 

Activites include: running/walking, hiking, swimming, interval training, nutrition counseling, strength training, yoga, meditation and more! During each 12-week session, we try to include a weekend retreat. Previous adventures have included a trip to Volcano National Park on the Big Island, Camp Erdman (where we challenged ourselves on the ropes course) and a personal improvement retreat at Malaekahana. Make a commitment to yourself and join today.

New members are always welcome at any time. Meeting times are every Monday, Wednesday (5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.) and Saturday (7:30 a.m - 9:00 a.m.). Meeting locations are outdoors and usually in the Honolulu area.

Winter Session dates: January 20 - April 12, 2003; Free orientation meeting on January 18, 2003 at Coffee Talk on the corner of Waialae and 11th Avenues at 8:00 a.m.

Spring Session dates: April 19 - July 12, 2003; Free orientation meeting at Coffee Talk on April 19, 2003.

Fall session dates: September 21 - December 14, 2003; Free orientation meeting at Coffee Talk on September 13, 2003.

Cost: $330 per session, 10% discount if you join with a friend.


One-on-One Training
Athletes meet with KC for an evaluation, testing and a discussion of your goals.

KC will then design a program to meet these goals and train you  one-on-one for an hour each session.  The workouts include nutrition counseling and exercises to improve strength, power, flexibility, balance, agility and speed.  This program is appropriate for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Fun and Fitness with a Friend
KC will come to your home, office, or other location and conduct 1- to 2-hour fitnessessions for you and your friends.  Group size minimum is four women. Programs are designed to fit your personal interests and goals. Locations of sessions are selected based on convenience for you. Training with a group is supportive, motivating and fun.

Cost: $60 per session. Minimum purchase of eight sessions to be paid in advance.  One session equals one hour.


Team Try Fitness

Team Try Fitness is a month-to-month triathlon training group for women. To keep you on track, to help you reah your goals, we provide variety and fun in our workouts- swimming, biking, running, nutrition counseling, strenght training, stretching and more.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. and every 2nd Sunday of the month. Sessions are ongoing from October 2002 until April 17, 2003. New participants are welcome anytime! Cost: $80 monthly.
From April 20 - July 10, 2003, we will be training for the Tinman Triathlon. Cost: $350 for the 12-week program of $125 a month.


Team Try Fitness Cycling Training for Women- New program!
An 8-week program designed for beginner and intermediate cyclists. Let our experienced team of coaches guide you in a fun and supportive environment.

Learn how to:
-ride in traffic and fee comfortable
on the road
-cyle with proper form and technique
-care for your bicycle and make minor repairs
-increase cardiovascular fitness through cross training and innovative techniques
-have fun cycling and make new friends

January 12 - March 9, 2003, Tuesday and Thursday 5:15 - 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. Cost: 250 ($125 for weekends only). Meet at Kapiolani Park at the Paki Street bathrooms for the first meeting.


Na Wahine Triathlon Training
This program is designed to help you prepare for te NikeTown Na Wahine Sprint Triathlon.

For novice, intermediate and advanced women triathletes. KC and her team of qualified coaches will help you get fit with: interval training, ocean swims, bike trainer workouts, long bike rides and practice triathlons. Improve your swim/bike/run transitions and more in this fun, group environment. We train at various locations around Oahu.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 -7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Cost: $250 for the 8-week program or $125 for Saturday only. Sessions dates: July 19 - September 11, 2003.


Spinning at the Honolulu Club-
KC is a certified Spinning instructor. Call KC or the Honolulu Club (543-3900) for class schedules or one-on-one Spin instruction.
